Websites for cleaning companies

Websites for cleaning companies that get bookings

People check a few cleaners on Google Maps, then tap “Website”. We build the page that gives them a price and books them in.

  • From £590 to build + £39/month care (3-month minimum). No VAT added.
  • We reply within 1 working day, usually the same day.

Where people give up

Where cleaning websites lose the booking

Cleaning is bought on price, trust and convenience, often in the evening on a phone. Most cleaning websites make people work too hard for all three.

  • The problem

“Call for a quote” loses people who just want a rough price.

    The fix

Clear starting prices, or an instant quote from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often (a custom extra, quoted first). People see a price straight away, then book or ask a question.

  • The problem

Regular clients and one-off jobs are mixed together.

    The fix

Separate routes for regular cleaning (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) and one-off jobs like deep cleans and end-of-tenancy (move-out) cleans.

  • The problem

People worry about letting a stranger into their home.

    The fix

A “who's coming to your home” section: vetting (DBS or background checks), insurance, training and what happens with keys.

  • The problem

Office and holiday-let clients land on a page about ovens.

    The fix

Paths for homes, offices and holiday lets (short-term rentals), each with the right checklist, frequency options and contact form.

  • The problem

What's included only lives in your head.

    The fix

A room-by-room checklist of what every clean covers, and which extras cost more (ovens, inside windows, laundry), so the first visit matches what they expected.

Anatomy of a cleaning page that gets bookings

Our concept for Pecan Wren Cleaning, a fictional house cleaning company on a one-page Launch site, with an instant quote added as a custom extra. Each part of the phone screen has one job.

Top to bottom, in the order a customer sees it on a phone.

  1. What, where, and a price

One line says what's cleaned and where, with a button that jumps straight to the quote.

  2. Instant quote

Bedrooms, bathrooms, how often. The price range updates as they tap, and nobody has to hand over an email to see it.

  3. Regular or one-off

Two tabs that change the options: weekly, fortnightly (biweekly) or monthly for regulars; deep, move-out and after-builders cleans for one-offs.

  4. Who's coming to your home

The team, vetting, insurance and training in one short section. On the concept, every detail is fictional.

  5. What's included

Room by room, what every clean covers and what costs extra. It answers the questions that usually need a phone call.

  6. Booking request

A start date, a time window and how they'll let you in (never the key-safe code itself). The owner confirms by text or email.

  7. Rating and areas

The Google rating linked to the real reviews, and the areas covered. On the concept, the reviews are labelled as sample content.

What's built in

Built for regular clients, not one-off enquiries

  • Instant quote (optional extra)

Rooms and frequency give a price range on the spot. It's custom work, so we quote it before we start. You set the rates, and we update them whenever you ask.

  • Regular cleans, booked properly

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly, with a start date and time window. Regular clients are your steady income, so that route is the easiest.

  • Vetting you can see

DBS or background checks, insurance and training in one block, in words a nervous first-time customer understands.

  • Homes, offices and holiday lets

Separate paths with the right checklist and frequency for each, so an office manager isn't reading about ovens.

  • What's included, room by room

A clear checklist for each type of clean, plus extras like ovens, inside windows and laundry, priced up front.

  • Set up properly for Google

We add a short piece of code that tells Google you offer home services (it has no type just for cleaners), with services, hours and areas that match your Business Profile.

Credentials

What people check before they hand over a key

Your customer is trusting you with their home, often while they're out. Show the checks and cover they're looking for. You send us the details and documents; we show them clearly, and only what you can prove.

You supply and prove every credential. We never add a badge or number you don't hold.

  • DBS checks for every cleaner (UK)
  • Background checks (US)
  • Public liability insurance
  • Employer's liability insurance, required for most UK employers
  • Bonded and insured (US)
  • Cleaning training, such as BICSc
  • A written key-holding policy
  • A re-clean policy if something's missed

Where your work comes from

Your own website vs booking apps and marketplaces

Apps and marketplaces can find you new customers. Your own site is where you keep them.

Your own websiteQuotes and bookings come straight to you, and regular clients rebook with you, not through a platform. It needs your real prices and areas to work well, and a few months to build up on Google.
Cleaning apps and marketplacesNew customers quickly, to fill empty slots. Many take a cut of every booking and keep the customer relationship, so repeat work can stay on the platform.
Pay-per-lead sitesQuick one-off jobs like end-of-tenancy cleans. You usually pay per enquiry, and people often ask several cleaners at once.

What a cleaning company website costs

The Pecan Wren concept is a one-page Launch site; its instant quote is a custom extra, quoted first. Most cleaning companies also want separate paths for homes, offices and holiday lets, which is our Local Pro build at £1,290, with Growth care at £79 a month to keep your prices and areas up to date. The first year comes to £2,238, and the site goes live within 10 working days.

Questions

Questions from cleaning companies

See all questions

Can customers get a price without calling me?
Yes. We can add an instant quote that shows a price range from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often. It's custom work, so we quote it first. You choose the rates and whether it shows a range or a “from” price. Anything unusual still comes to you as a quote request.
Can people book regular cleans online?
They can request a regular slot: how often, a start date and a time window. You confirm it. If you already use a booking or scheduling tool, Local Plus connects it, and you keep paying the tool's own fees.
Should the website show my cleaners?
Only with their permission. A real team photo and first names help nervous first-time customers. We never use AI faces or stock photos of people pretending to be your team.
I clean homes, offices and holiday lets. Do I need separate pages?
If you want each kind of customer, yes. Each asks different questions: frequency and keys for homes, contracts and out-of-hours work for offices, turnaround times for holiday lets.
Can the booking form collect key-safe codes?
It won't ask for them, on purpose. A website form isn't the place for a code that opens someone's home. The form asks how they'll let you in, and the code is shared by phone or in person.
I'm a sole cleaner, not a company. Is this too much?
Not necessarily. A one-page Launch site with your prices, areas and a booking request can be enough to start. You can add pages later, and we quote them before we start.
Will a website replace the booking apps I use?
It doesn't have to. Many cleaners keep an app for new customers and send regular clients and referrals to their own site, where there's no commission on repeat bookings.
