Websites for restaurants & cafés
Websites for restaurants and cafés that get tables booked.
Diners find you on Google Maps, then tap “Website” for the menu. We build the page that makes them book with you, not next door.
- From £590 to build + £39/month care (3-month minimum). No VAT added.
- We reply within 1 working day, usually the same day.

Where people give up
Where restaurant websites lose bookings
Diners decide fast, often on a phone and on the way somewhere. These gaps send them to the next place on the map.
The problem
The menu is a PDF that's slow to open and needs pinching to read.
The fix
A real text menu: quick on phones, easy to update, and readable by Google and AI assistants when people search for a dish.
The problem
The only “Book” button goes to a third-party platform, with its fees and its branding.
The fix
A “Book a table” button on every screen that goes to the booking tool you choose, plus a phone number for people who'd rather call.
The problem
Diners with allergies can't check what's safe, so they don't risk it.
The fix
Allergen and dietary labels on the menu, and a clear line on how to tell you about an allergy. Your kitchen supplies the details; we make them easy to find.
The problem
Opening hours are out of date, especially over bank holidays.
The fix
Lunch, dinner and kitchen-closing times that match your Google profile, with special dates shown clearly. Changes are small edits, sent by WhatsApp.
The problem
Private dining and events are a single line at the bottom of the page.
The fix
A proper events section: set menus priced per head, how many the room seats, photos of the space and a short enquiry form.

Anatomy of a restaurant page that gets bookings
Taberna da Poupa is our concept site for a fictional tavern in Lisbon, in Portuguese and English. Here's what each part of the page does.
Top to bottom, in the order a customer sees it on a phone.
Book and menu, first screen
The hero has two buttons: “Book a table” and “See the menu”. That's what most visitors came for, so nothing else competes with them.
Dish of the day
Tap a weekday to see what the kitchen is cooking and what it costs. It gives regulars a reason to come back, and it's a quick edit to change.
A menu written as text
Small plates, grill, desserts and wine, each with a price, a one-line description and a vegetarian label. It loads fast and reads well on a phone.
A 30-second booking form
Day, time and party size, then a name and mobile number. It says up front that there's no card or deposit, and how long the table is held.
Groups and private dining
The cellar room gets its own section, with three set menus priced per head and a form that asks for the date, numbers and occasion.
Directions from the tram stop
A hidden square is hard to find, so the page walks visitors from the tram stop to the door. Lunch and dinner hours are listed separately.
A sticky bar on phones
Call, Menu and Book stay at the bottom of the screen, wherever the visitor has scrolled to.
What's built in
Built for hungry people on phones
Menus as real text
Your menu as a web page, not a PDF: fast on phones, quick for us to update, and readable by Google and AI assistants. Dietary labels built in.
Table bookings your way
A button for the booking tool you already use, or a simple request form that goes to your phone or inbox. Big groups get their own enquiry form.
Allergens made clear
The allergen and dietary details your kitchen gives us, labelled on each dish, with a clear line on how to ask. Easy to update when a recipe changes.
Hours that stay right
Lunch and dinner hours, kitchen closing times and holiday dates, matched to your Google profile. Send changes by WhatsApp or email.
Menus in your guests' languages
In a tourist area, a second language can matter as much as the menu itself. Every translation is checked by a native speaker.
Found for your food and area
We add the hidden labels Google reads: “Restaurant” or “Café”, your cuisine, your menu and bookings. Every detail matches your Google profile.
Credentials
What diners check before they book
Diners look for signs that you're clean, safe for their allergies and honest about prices. We give each one a clear place on the page.
You supply and prove every credential. We never add a badge or number you don't hold.
- Your current food hygiene rating, linked to the official record
- Allergen information covering the 14 major allergens, kept up to date by your kitchen
- Halal, kosher, vegan or gluten-free claims, with the certificate or process behind them
- Clear prices, including any service charge, cover charge or booking deposit
- Your booking and cancellation policy, in plain words
- Guide listings or press write-ups, linked to the original
Where your work comes from
Your website vs delivery and booking apps
Most restaurants use a mix of these. Here's what each one is good for, and what to check.
| Channel | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Your own website | Your menu, your prices and your booking button, in one place you own. Bookings and enquiries come straight to you. | Menus, hours and specials need regular updates. Send them to us: they're small edits on your care plan. |
| Google Business Profile | Where many diners find you: photos, reviews, hours, directions and a link to your menu. | Its hours and menu link must match your site. And the “Website” button needs a good page to land on. |
| Delivery apps | They reach people who want to eat at home, and handle the delivery for you. | They usually take a commission on each order, and you don't always get the customer's details. Price your delivery menu with that in mind. |
| Table-booking platforms | Diners can book at any hour, and some find you through the platform's own listings. | Check your plan: some charge per diner or per booking, especially for diners they send you. Put your own booking link first on your site. |
| Review and guide sites | Reviews and photos from other diners build trust with people who don't know you yet. | You don't control the page, and details go out of date. Check them every few months and link to your site. |
| Social media | Great for dish photos, specials and events. | Posts disappear fast and not everyone has an account. Keep the menu and booking on your site, and link to it from your profile. |
